ANDREW HUNT
Andrew is the Managing Director of Marlow and is responsible for day to day management of the private equity
fund manager, the structuring and execution of all Portfolio
Investments, investor relations, and is a member of the Investment
Committee.
Prior to founding Marlow, Andrew was the Head of Investment
Banking, Africa for HSBC Bank plc, where he was
responsible for the development and execution of the regional
investment banking strategy covering the Advisory, Equity Capital
Markets, Debt Finance and Project Finance products. Andrew was a
member of HSBC Africa’s executive committee, chaired the regional
business approval committee and was a member of the global
investment banking compensation and recruitment committees.
Andrew has over fifteen years of investment banking experience
having worked in London, New York, Toronto and South Africa. Andrew
has advised both African and international companies on mergers and
acquisitions, valuations and restructurings and equity, equity
linked and debt financings. Andrew has worked in South Africa for
ten years and has played a senior role in some of the most
significant and complex transactions in the South African market. |

SEAN MEYERSFELD
Sean is a Director of Marlow and is
responsible for transaction origination and new business development
for the Fund. He will also play an active role in performing due
diligence, leading transaction teams and the management of Portfolio
Investments. Sean is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to founding Marlow, Sean was a senior coverage and execution
banker at HSBC Bank plc, where he was responsible for the
development of the industrial and financial institutions sector
coverage, as well as the establishment of the group’s regional
Equity Capital Markets capability. Sean was a member of HSBC’s
regional business approval committee, and a member of the investment
committee for the group’s employee investment fund.
Sean has 9 years of Investment Banking experience, having previously
worked at UBS and Credit Suisse where he was responsible for
Industrial and mid-cap equity research for the South African
equities business. Throughout his career Sean has been involved in a
wide range of investment banking transactions across a range of
sectors and geographies, including both international and domestic
public takeover bids, debt, equity and hybrid capital raisings, and
capital distributions.
Sean graduated with a BComm (Hons) and an LLB from the University of
the Witwatersrand, and has an MPhil from Cambridge University. |
